Corn

I think one of the favorites that we planted in the garden this year is the corn.  We are loving eating fresh corn anytime we want, and without paying the high prices at the stands.  The variety we planted is called "gotta have more" and it is yummy. 
Yesterday I asked Jaxon what he wanted to eat for lunch.  He said "let's eat corn, I know how to pick it".  So we went to the garden and found us some nice ears to pick.  He went to the patio and started shucking it.  He would peel it down far enough to start seeing the corn then he would say "there's the lovely part".  It was so cute.  Hurray for summer dinners of fresh garden corn, tomatoes, and cucumbers.  YUM!
