Saturday was Ethan's baptism. I'm not sure how he got to 8 so fast! It was a great day. We spent the morning cleaning and baking. Ethan was so excited he kept asking when he should get ready. Finally the time came and we headed to the church. Ethan had asked Nathaniel to speak and he did a really nice job for his first talk, even though he was really nervous. He even wrote the talk by himself. When it was time to go to the font, Ethan pretty much ran down the isle and out the door. It was so cute! Benjamin gave him a beautiful blessing with the confirmation. Everything went great and it was a nice baptism. We let Ethan choose the program - thanks to everyone who helped!
Afterward, everyone was invited over for goodies. I had spend 2 days baking my heart out to have enough treats for the occasion. There were cookies and cupcakes and fruit and bread and the most delicious apple dip ever. I could seriously sit and eat it with a spoon (thanks Cammi!).
Thanks to everyone who came and shared Ethan's special day with us. We really appreciate all of the family support we receive.
