Our week of Thanksgiving fun

We've been up to some exciting stuff.  Here's the rundown.
All of Benjamin's family has been in town for the holiday. That hasn't happened in many years so it was fun to all be together again.
Saturday the boys all went on a hunting to trip to a pheasant farm.  My 2 older boys went on the hunt.  The other 2 boys went with me to our primary activity.  It was presented by Liken the Scriptures.  We got to lounge around on blankets, eat popcorn and watch a movie.  Best primary activity ever!
Benjamin's sister and her husband adopted their second little girl earlier this year so last week we got to attend her blessing and their temple sealing.  Both were beautiful and a joy to be a part of.
We endured :) a family photo session and got some great shots of both the entire family and just us.  I'm excited to get a new print of our family.
We had the whole family over to our place for waffles and a round of Bunco.  With so many people our house was a little crazy but we had a lot of fun and ate a lot of waffles.
Thanksgiving Day was split between families.  By rotation, it was the year to eat with my family.  So we spent the afternoon at my parents church eating until we were stuffed and playing games.  We introduced them to our bean bag game and I think many enjoyed that.  Later we headed to Benjamin's parent's church to hang out and play for a while with his family.
Oh yea, Thanksgiving Day was also our 12th anniversary.  The week was so crazy that we didn't do anything to celebrate.  Maybe we will go out this week.  Hurray to 12 years!
Friday night we went to the Spanish Fork light parade.  It's alot of fun as long as you bundle up and stay warm.  Some floats throw candy but some throw glow stick, which the kids thought was neat.  They started competing to see who could get the most. We now have glow sticks EVERYWHERE!
Saturday was our day to head into the forest and find our Christmas tree.  We went with a few friends, some who had gone with us before and some we were initiating into tree cutting this year.  We found the perfect spot where there were many, many pretty trees and we got a near perfect one.  After the search was over, we gathered around hot chocolate and doughnuts while the dads did a little trap shooting.  The storm was starting to come in and it got pretty cold so we packed up and headed home.  Of course the only time in all this that I took pictures was during the tree cutting so here's some shots of our adventure.
