There hasn't been much new and exciting to blog about lately. We have just been keeping busy with life. Here's a few things that have kept us running.
- Benjamin went to his annual conference in Vegas. He thoroughly hates nearly every minute of it. He just doesn't live the lifestyle that Vegas offers and being there alone doesn't help at all. His favorite part is saying goodbye to the town and we are always thankful to have him back home.
- We spend most evenings at a ballpark somewhere in town. Caleb has soccer games twice a week plus a practice, and Nathaniel and Ethan each have 2 baseball games a week plus a practice. Add to that a night of scouts and a night for fishing class and our evenings are pretty booked. Sometimes it's all we can do to get everyone to the right place on time.
- Nathaniel ran in the Hershey's Track Meet and placed second in 2 of his events. He was pretty excited about that.
- We have 2 new baby girls into the family. Last week Benjamin's brother and his wife had a beautiful baby girl. 2 days later his sister and her husband welcomed their new baby into the world. They have been richly blessed by a selfless young girl who is giving them her baby to have as their own. What a wonderful thing adoption is. Congrats to the new parents!
- I had a nice Mother's Day. Friday the Kindergarten had a mothers picnic so I got to go enjoy a little food and sunshine with Caleb. I enjoyed a peaceful Sunday morning soaking in the tub. Benjamin bought me a tree and some cool tulips. It may sound like a funny gift but I am so excited to have something green outside. Can't wait for grass!
- With the terrible weather we've been having, we enjoy every bit of sunshine we are given. We only get a warm, sunny day every now and then so we try to spend those days outside. We have flown kites, played baseball, played at the park, and just roamed the neighborhood visiting with neighbors. We are really hoping that one of these days the sun will decide to stick around.
- we found a yummy restaurant. We went out to dinner with some friends and they took us to a place called Joe Banditos. When you look at the outside, it's a little scary, even the inside made me a little nervous. But the food? Delicious!! I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food but I ate every drop. YUM!
Well, that's our life. Now I am just gearing up for summer and having everyone home. The kids are taking the year end tests, turning in books, and practicing for year end programs. We figured that after our new neighbors all move in, there will be 21 boys on our street and all under the age of 10. Should make for an exciting summer! Now if the weather would only warm up, they can all go outside.

I love hearing about all the big and little things going on :) Tell Nathaniel congrats for 2nd place in the Hershey track meet!
Congratulations Nathaniel. It sounds like life is going good for you guys. So glad to hear that. Hope the weather changes so you can go outside. Right now we are on winter storm warning with 10-20 inches of snow on its way. Love ya!
Sounds like a great time, and very busy.
