This week we wanted to go to ward temple night. We were able to get a 17 year old in the ward to come over. We had a nice evening topped off with ice cream at the creamery. When we got home she told us that Jaxon had hurt his foot while they were playing. The next morning he told us he couldn't walk and wouldn't put pressure on his foot. So we headed to the doctor's office. He said we couldn't x-ray it yet because there's a good chance nothing would show up, but he is pretty sure it is broken. So he gets to wear a splint for a week and then we will go back for an x-ray. The first day was pretty rough, he cried alot and kept asking me to take the splint off. Now he is handling it ok, he has figured out how to walk on it fairly well. The big problem now is getting jeans on his leg. I went out today and bought his a few pairs of sweats that will make dressing easier. As for bedtime, big t-shirts work really nicely. He is taking this really well, what a trooper!!

Yikes!~ Hope the little guy starts to feel better... What on earth could he have been playing to break a leg? If you need anything let me know
The poor little guy!! I hope he starts feeling better soon.
That's crazy, poor Jaxon! Hope he gets better soon. When will they be able to X-ray it?
oh my! sounds like fun at your house. Remember that "horse" tape around a regular cast works wonders for walking. :) did that one once. I think Sid was probably about the same age as Jaxon is now. Good luck and hope all goes well with him.
What I love about this is that if we are at my parents and need fill in pajamas, a Big Springs shirt is usually what is found :)
