Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas.  Santa brought the family an air hockey table to add to our gameroom downstairs.  We've already had alot of fun with it.  It can't be a Christmas without a new round of nerf guns.  This year I bought everyone a nerf disk gun and they are so much fun.  The boys all love Ginger Beer, and they were all excited to each get their very own 4 pack.  We all enjoyed a morning of opening presents.  We had asked the boys what they wanted for breakfast and they chose Swedish pancakes with ice cream and chocolate.  We had a great time feasting on our "breakfast".  We had church at 12:30, after which we headed to Payson to spend time with family.  It was a great day and we enjoyed spending the holiday together having fun.
During the rest of the Christmas break, we enjoyed spending time as family.
Benjamin's sister and her family were here from Iowa and we were able to have them over for an evening to just hang out and let the kids play.  It was nice to spend some time with them.
We saw a few movies at our local theater.
The boys had worked to earn enough money to buy Seven Peaks Pass of all Passes.  We've already gotten our moneys through a couple of days at trafalga.  We played a couple of rounds of mini golf and several games of laser tag.  We even all made a go at climbing the rock wall.
The boys did some pheasant hunting and Benjamin has been helping Nathaniel and Ethan build their own knives.
We finished off the year with our traditional New Years Eve party at our house.  We had a great time with our friends playing games and eating yummy snacks.  At midnight we ran outside to bang pots and pans and I supplied all the kids with noisemakers to blow to their hearts content.  Thanks to everyone for another great time.
We end another year with much gratitude for all of our blessings, for our wonderful friends and neighbors, for family, for jobs, for new callings, and all else we are so blessed and lucky to have.
