The boys had a great time on their pheasant hunt (besides the hotel experience I already mentioned). They saw lots of birds and shot 5. Nathaniel didn't shoot any this time, I think he felt too much pressure having 2 dads to compete against. He still had a good time. The dogs did well other than when a pheasant landed in the river and the dogs wouldn't go after it so Benjamin had to wade in and retrieve it. I told him the dogs were just too smart to get wet and cold. They are all thankful every year they get to go on the Lewiston hunt. They look forward to it every year.
