A beautiful fall hike

The last few days the kids have been out of school for fall break.  One day we decided to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather we are having.  After discussing different hikes we settled on heading up to Provo to hike to the Y.  The boys were well prepared, they loaded their backpacks with water and treats and snacks.  It is a very steep hike, it climbs 1000 ft in about a mile.  Although there were some complaints drifting through the air, we made it to the very top.  Jaxon was the best little trooper of them all.  We sat at the top for a while, eating snacks and enjoying the gorgeous view before making our way back down the mountain.  It was a fun afternoon spent together and the kids were so proud of themselves for making it all the way.
