Enjoying Fall

We thoroughly enjoyed listening to General Conference last weekend.  There some amazing talks and I just loved how happy and animated President Monson was.  During the Sunday sessions we took a drive up the canyon for a picnic.  Here's a photo summary of how we enjoy a beautiful fall day in the mountains.
Tossing a football - Monkey in the middle (for some reason, mom was the monkey ALOT)
A butterfly decided to take a rest on Benjamin's fingertip.  Beautiful!
The road we chose didn't take us to many fall leaves but we did find some nice yellow aspens)
Riding in the back of the truck - oh yea!  (even if it was only 20 feet)
The boys loved this rock and wanted a photo.  It is a cool shot.
Jaxon checking out the wildlife
We found some pretty trees
picnicking in the gravel
Letting the dogs roam the fields
It was a beautiful weekend we enjoyed being together and listening to inspiring words.  My boys love conference, hopefully for more than all the BINGO candy.  A trip to the mountains was a nice reminder of how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful place.

I've never seen a butterfly like that before. The colors are just beautiful--almost not even real. What a fun day for your family!
